Ionograph Series
The Ionograph is the industry standard for ionic contamination testing, specified in all commonly used cleaning standards. Each test module is designed to deliver precision accuracy at an affordable price. The series consists of five different test modules, including the new SMD IV, SMD II, small parts, standard and large parts. The test modules are controlled by SCS PowerView software.
The "Dynamic" testing method, used in all Ionographs, offers state of the art accuracy for many applications including:
- Compliance with industry specifications including MIL-STD-2000A, IPC-TM-650 and ANSI/J-STD-001.
- Control of aqueous and semi aqueous cleaning process for bare and assembled printed circuit boards.
- Used to control both the cleaning and the no-clean processes.
- Testing to prevent corrosion or product performance problems associated with ionic contamination.
- Cleanliness testing of performance sensitive small parts.
- Cleanliness testing of cleanroom specific products such as gloves, fixtures, assembly tools and critical assembly components used in precise manufacturing.
- Process control of no clean/low residue processes, including spray fluxer set up and monitoring.
Small Parts Test Module
- 6" x 6" test cell can detect very small amounts of contamination with accurate precision
- Comes complete with custom basket for sample holding

Standard Test Module
- 12" x 14" test cell for standard size samples
- Ideal Starter Unit
- Ideal for testing a variety of products ranging from parts to complete PC assemblies
Large Parts Test Module
- 14" x 20" test cell for larger components
- Allows for testing of oversized samples which could not be accommodated by the other bench top units
